About MIPMM
Company Profile
The Malaysian Institute of Purchasing And Materials Management (MIPMM) was formed in 1977. As a non-profit, self-sustainable institution, the Institute is vested in a governing council of 18 voluntary members. The National Centre is based in Penang with regional centre in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru.
Now MIPMM take role of vice chairman of APLF
Education Training And Development
The Institute is committed to educate, train and develop personnel engaged in the field of purchasing and materials management. Thus, MIPMM provides wide range of structured professional development programmes in this field. In line with its objectives to increase professional knowledge of purchasing and materials management, MIPMM organises seminars, dialogues and workshops throughout the year, providing a forum for the exchange of concepts and expertise. These events allow members to keep abreast with the recent local and international developments in this field and effectively implement useful concepts such as TQM, JIT and BPR.
