Message from Chairman
Welcome to APLF's Homepage
As a chairman of APLF, it gives me great pleasure to introduce our organization.
APLF was established by a logistics organization from many Aisa-Pacific countries when they first gathered in Tokyo, Japan in November of 1995.
As the only international logistics federation in the Asia-Pacific, APLF has been challenged by various activities to promote the efficient function of logistics in the region through exchange and studies by APLF members.
As APLF is a non-profit organization formed by related logistics organizations in countries of the Asia-Pacific , it serves as a forum in which members may meet and interact with one another to achieve the goal creating better, more efficient logistics systems and to contribute to the greater development of the Asian-Pacific region and the international economy as a whole.
To keep pace with the boundless globalization in the recent era, APLF shall take a leading role to attain logistics standardizations and form a common market of logistics throughout the world by building global networks with Europe and America through the exchange of information with the above mentioned regions.
Now logistics requires the support by various industries connected with logistics.
And in terms of companies and countries in which boundless competition exists, logistics need to develop from the simply function of communication to a higher standard in the logistics industry.
To accord with the needs of this time, APLF shall reinforce our mutual cooperation with our member countries and international organizations related to the logistics industry. Through this cooperation, APLF promises to be the international logistics federation that gives visible and invisible beneficiary to the parties concerned.
